At Lisburn Road Dental and Implant Clinic we offer a range of facial treatments including the following injection therapies.

Anti-wrinkle injections

We offer anti-wrinkle injections, these products are used for softening and smoothing facial expression lines by blocking the chemical signals that make the muscle contract. Only a minute amount is injected by a fully trained clinician into the particular muscle. It is used to treat:

• Forehead lines
• Frown lines
• Crow’s feet

How Does It Work?

The treatment is a tried and tested safe procedure. During an initial consultation we will look at the areas which require treatment, after this a tiny sterile needle is used to inject a minute amount of the product into the desired area. You will be given post-operative instructions. The procedure is quick, there is only minimal swelling and redness, which subsides shortly, is relatively painless.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are used to fill out or augment any troublesome areas. They are used to treat:

• Nose to mouth lines (nasolabial lines or furrows)
• Marionette lines (at the corners of the mouth)
• Depressions and blemishes (scars)
• To augment or enhance the lips.

The area to be treated will be frozen using anaesthetic and then injected using the most suitable product to give the best results.The results are immediate: your skin will be smoother and more youthful looking. Once any swelling and/or bruising subsides the results will be subtle and pleasing.

Fillers can be used in conjunction with other injection therapies.
